Caring for your hair extensions when you can’t get into the salon.

**Gently brush your roots/regrowth with a soft bristle brush.
Use a sweeping motion from the roots and bring the brush up and away as you reach the bond.
This is the best defense against getting knotted/dreaded hair.

**When brushing the length of your hair, hold it at the scalp and be very gentle.

**Fusion/keratin extensions – use a lot of conditioner on your roots to help keep it as tangle-free as possible.
I know that goes against what you may have heard but this type of extension doesn’t come out until you take them out (or rip them out! ouch!)

**Blow dry at least the roots/regrowth of your hair asap after washing. Always keep your hair dry.
Do not let it air dry, especially if your hair is very grown out.
If your hair is allowed to air dry without being brushed out I guarantee you will have some nice dreaded scalp hair that might break when detangled.
Please be careful.

**If you want to remove your extensions yourself or have any questions PLEASE MESSAGE ME.
I can help! I don’t want you to hurt your hair!
The removal process can hurt your hair if you are not careful.

**You may want to cut your extensions. Slide cut or use a razor, do not cut straight across or your hair will look like a weird broom. Seriously.

**The minute I know that I am allowed to be open I will accommodate everyone as quickly as possible and I will be VERY available.

**SEATTLE – I am trying to keep track of what is happening there, I know you guys are ahead of where I am as far as how progressed everything is. I want to come ASAP but still need to be safe, for everyone involved. Please be patient and PLEASE reach out and let me know how you and your hair are holding up!
